In 2016, over a warm glass of milk and a bowl of dry biscuits, a collection of warped individuals put their heads together to create an outlet for the house music they so admired. Not just any old house music though, oh no… The idea was to create a magical record label that would serve as a home for the weirder offshoots of traditional house music – the cheeky, bass-heavy, rolling, glitchy, buzzy and wacky house music. And just like that, after at least 7 minutes of intense deliberation, Box of Cats was born.

From that day on cats from around the globe clawed at the opportunity to be a part of the Box of Cats family, which has grown into a brand that has proven its worth as a trusted source of unique house music and cat-related merchandise.
